Samaná Adventure and Native Culture

1 Day

We have prepared this nature and cultural adventure for you, and you can't miss it.

Note: As it is a visit where we will horseback ride, we will walk through trails with colorful rural houses, waterfall baths. It is recommended to read the entire content.

In partnership with local suppliers, we are committed to bringing you the best of the region on this visit.

Take a look at what we have prepared for you and your family, the fascinating history of Samana Bay, mentioned by Christopher Columbus in the 16th century and known by the natives as XAMANA, is an impressive peninsula. At its feet lies the magnificent Samana Bay, coveted by foreign powers since the time of Napoleon Bonaparte, the American Empire, and after many vicissitudes and years of neglect, due to its inaccessible communication, it comes to our days as a true tourist gem, coveted by large hotel companies and foreign investors. Without exaggeration, we can say as guides that there are not many beaches on the island with paradisiacal conditions like those in Samana. The journey we present to you is very comprehensive and speaks for itself. The first thing we must know is the mentioned and famous Salto del Limón Waterfall, which according to scholars, informs us that:

It is located in the Samaná mountains and stands at a height of about 40 meters. This waterfall boasts a unique jungle setting, with local Dominican flora and fauna. A landscape that will never fail to amaze you if you visit! Nestled in a surprisingly rugged terrain, this waterfall shines with its own light!

After spending a good time enjoying this natural wonder, we return on our horses to the typical restaurant. La Manzana, where a delicious creole buffet awaits us with drinks and coffee included. After finishing, we will take the bus and arrive at another space we have for you, the famous community of Las Terrenas, with its pristine beaches, which has become in recent years a true and important community for tourist development. After a refreshing swim at the beach, we return along a road with one of the most unique landscapes on the island, El Mirador de Coson.  You should not miss this opportunity to enjoy and make the most of your trip to the Caribbean.
